Niwasaki Cafe is located just steps away from the “Beer Restaurant Ichi no Soko” on Kaminoura-dori, and opens at 8 AM on weekends.<\/span><\/p>\n

The landmark to look for is the neon \u300c\u307f\u300dwhich is actually the sign for the bar “K.MIYAMOTO,” whose garden the cafe borrows on weekends.<\/span><\/p>\n

Look for the charming wooden stall and flags!<\/span><\/p>\n

The idea to start the cafe came from a light-hearted comment from Mr. Miyamoto, owner of “K.MIYAMOTO,” who suggested using the garden during the day.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unbelievable Value and Generous Portions<\/b><\/h2>\n

The menu consists of coffee and sandwiches, including hot sandwiches and focaccia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Coffee, both hot and iced, is 100 yen!<\/span><\/p>\n

The most expensive item, a sandwich, is priced at only 400 yen.<\/span><\/p>\n

The most popular item is the Smoked Egg Sandwich (300 yen).<\/span><\/p>\n

As the name suggests, it is not just an egg sandwich, the eggs are <\/span>smoked<\/b>!<\/span><\/p>\n

Look at the amount of egg salad!<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s delicious, well-seasoned, and incredibly filling!<\/span>

\n<\/span>The eggs are smoked in-house to create a unique filling.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The ingredients are practically overflowing.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The Smoked Chicken and Lotus Root Sandwich is 400 yen, and looked like it would go perfectly with beer or whisky so I decided to grab one to-go.<\/span><\/p>\n

Paying customers are welcome to use the garden tables and benches freely.<\/span>

\n<\/span>The garden, blooming with cherry blossoms in spring and turning colorful in autumn, feels just like home and is a popular gathering spot for locals and regulars.<\/span><\/p>\n

On this day, they were testing a new dessert, tiramisu, which they’re still perfecting, hoping to add it to the menu in the future.<\/span>

\n<\/span>They handed me a sample saying they weren’t sure if it was sweet enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are also planning to make soup for the winter season. Exciting!<\/span><\/p>\n
