\u00a0<\/span>As a kid, my mom would scold me for watching “ONE PIECE” on TV, telling me, “Don’t watch that stuff!”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Then, my dad, hearing this, bought the entire “ONE PIECE” manga collection and firmly said,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>“<\/span> Oh just shut up and read this already!!!!”\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

(It’s like a famous scene from the Drum Kingdom Arc!)<\/span><\/p>\n

It was almost as if a “\u30c9\u30f3\uff01\uff01\uff01” (DON!!!) sound effect bubble from One Piece appeared behind him as he slammed the comics on the table!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Since then, it’s been a family obsession, and that passion continues to this day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Now a global phenomenon, “ONE PIECE” has collaborated with the Minami Aso Railway, which gained attention for resuming full-line operations on July 15th.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a9️\u5c3e\u7530\u6804\u4e00\u90ce\uff0f\u96c6\u82f1\u793e<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hearing that the SUNNY-GO TRAIN was hitting the tracks, I couldn’t miss the chance and hopped aboard on its inaugural day!<\/span><\/p>\n

Up at 5 AM, Heading to Takamori<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/span>With a scheduled departure around 9 AM, I arrived at Takamori Station.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a9️\u5c3e\u7530\u6804\u4e00\u90ce\uff0f\u96c6\u82f1\u793e<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There was already a crowd gathering…!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

We were welcomed by a large bronze statue Franky, the shipwright who built the Thousand Sunny.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I was taking it all in, the train arrived, and I hurried over in excitement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sunny!!!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Here it is, the “Sunny-Go Train,” a collaboration between ONE PIECE and Minami Aso Railway.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It runs between Tateno and Takamori Stations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Boarding Time!<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/span>So, without further ado, I boarded!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>It was first-come, first-served, but luckily, I managed to get a seat.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Inside the train… wow, just wow!<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceiling is adorned with iconic scenes from the manga!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>If you look closely, the lights are fashioned into straw hats…!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>There are treasure chests with treasures and even Devil Fruits…!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Devil Fruits are supposed to be worth hundreds of millions of Bellies… could this train be targeted by pirates?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The seats are also decorated with scenes from the manga.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And not just any scenes, but ones specifically about the Sunny! Fans will definitely love this~<\/span><\/p>\n

When children don’t listen to you, you can say, “<\/span>Look! Zoro is warning you, too!<\/b>“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I take my seat and wait for the departure! This time we are headed to the final stop, Tateno Station.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, it’s time for the train journey!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>I’m soaking in the breathtaking scenery of Minami Aso, as the train gently sways.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Each station greets us with its own little wonders!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes we are greeted by sunflower fields and soap bubbles…<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Even Jizo statues are decked out in ONE PIECE flair…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Carrot! There you are!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Keep your eyes peeled for various ONE PIECE characters popping up along the line and at the stations. It\u2019s a real treat for fans!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Arriving at Tateno Station!<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

We arrived at Tateno Station!<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>The trip was a treat not just for the eyes with Minami Aso\u2019s incredible landscapes, but also for ONE PIECE fans, brimming with pleasant surprises \u2013 time just flew by!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>I even snagged a commemorative sticker as a keepsake!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>It turns out, you get one per person on your SUNNY-GO TRAIN ride, until they run out.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Welcoming us at Tateno Station was the legendary Kumamon (not the Bartholomew Kuma), striding over for a high-five.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>I thought I might get catapulted into the air, but it was just a superb fan experience. You’re our admiral!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You get a great view of the train from Tateno Station.<\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span>hey’ve thought of everything \u2013 even the roof’s decorated with Luffy’s pirate flag!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Today, Tateno Station seemed to thoroughly be celebrating the SUNNY-GO TRAIN, decking out in all things ONE PIECE!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>There were Straw Hat Pirates’ flags fluttering…<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>And the heartening message sent by Eiichiro Oda immediately after the 2016\u00a0Kumamoto Earthquake.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
