I can’t help but visit a newly-opened café when I hear such news! I made my way to “AYUN TERRACE,” which reopened its doors on June 6, 2020, after a brief hiatus.

A Beauty Café next to a Spa
Nestled near “Shuho”, a Chinese restaurant in Kikuyo town, “AYUN TERRACE” reopened as a beauty cafe containing a full-service hands-on spa in the cafe. “AYUN” translates to “a beautiful woman” in Indonesian – quite fitting for a place that blends relaxation and indulgence.
Thanks to a lot of sunshine streaming from the window, the café is filled with its bright atmosphere! With plenty of counter seats, it’s a space where even solo visitors can relax and unwind comfortably.
The Ideal Lunch for Me!
They offer a variety of lunch meals, such as Green Curry, Nasi Goreng (Indonesian fried rice). But here’s the one attracting me the most: Green Curry and Pad Krapow Combo (1,300 yen). We often suffer from a dilemma in which we can’t decide what to eat when we visit a café or restaurant, but this combo will save you from this problem. The set lets you savor both Green Curry and Gapao Rice – and the curry even comes with a free second helping!

I tried the green curry and pad krapow as the main dish. They are topped with a sunny-side-up egg, coriander, and a cute edible flower.
The green curry contains a wide variety of ingredients, such as chicken, king oyster mushroom, eggplant, and maitake mushroom, and it doesn’t look like a dish served at a café! The Green Curry, which the owner apparently spent considerable time researching, has an authentic taste—spicy yet irresistibly moreish, prompting me to help myself to seconds.
Since I love the phrases “big servings, refills, and all-you-can-eat”, this was a great delight!!
The pad krapow emitted an appetizing aroma and had a nice spiciness, going well with rice.
Impressed with Their Peach Parfait!!
It is insane to finish lunch without any dessert, isn’t it? The Green Curry, which the owner apparently spent considerable time researching, has an authentic taste—spicy yet irresistibly moreish, prompting me to help myself to seconds.
Limited-Time Seasonal Offering: PEACH PARFAIT!!!
A very large and sweet peach sourced from Nagasaki is used generously. What a luxurious treat!!
The other side of the parfait is also jam-packed with soft, luscious peaches – it’s a storm of delight! Tasting it, the sweet, melt-in-your-mouth peaches are so delectable, it feels like my cheeks might just melt away with happiness!
Inside, many ingredients such as the peach sauce, black tea jelly, and panna cotta are put really tightly. Any part of it is beyond description… I usually get disappointed to find that the bottom of parfaits is filled only with some cornflakes or cookies, but this one is not!!! It’s literally the “paradise” parfait which you can bask in the afterglow after you eat!
As peach season ends, Shine Muscat and Kyoho Grape parfaits will be available as the next seasonal treat. It must be delectable too!
The café satisfied me physically and mentally with their exquisite lunch and parfait! Why not give it a shot?
