I arrived at “Minamiaso Fureai Noen”! Why not check out how their system works?
Minamiaso Fureai Noen is located in the Ichizeki district of Minamiaso Village.
They’ve been farming here for generations, with the current operation spearheaded by the fifth generation.
This marks the 28th season of their strawberry-picking farm endeavor.
They cultivate a variety of strawberries each year, dependent on that year’s seedlings. This season, you can choose from four different varieties: Yubeni, Hinoshizuku, Kaorino, and Koiminori.
There are two options for strawberry picking: “食べ放題コース (all-you-can-eat)” and “摘み取りコース (picking course)”. In the picking course, strawberries are sold by weight. On the other hand, the all-you-can-eat course lets you enjoy as many strawberries as you like for a fixed price, without any time restrictions.
Note, pricing varies by season, depending on the market rates for strawberries.
In addition to the menu, visitors can also find signage in various foreign languages.
There’s also a play area for children. It’s nice to see such thoughtful amenities.
Face-in-hole panels and
strawberry hats make for irresistible photo opportunities!
A buffet of four strawberry varieties! Don’t miss out on the taste test.
Strawberries are cultivated on multiple greenhouses, so you can explore, find your favorite spot, and start picking!
Check out these strawberries all lined up in a row!
So many vibrant red ripe strawberries!
The All-You-Can-Eat Course is a fantastic choice as it allows you to relish an endless supply of strawberries, without any restrictions on the quantity or duration!
And here is my first pick.
Look at this freshly picked strawberry…
So juicy and delicious!
Nothing beats the taste of fresh and delicious strawberries at their peak of ripeness!!
With plenty of tables and benches available, you can collect some strawberries first and then relax and savor them all in one go.
I also recommended tasting the four different varieties of strawberries side-by-side.
I was happily exclaiming over how delicious and joy-inducing the strawberries were. However, when I compared them, I noticed that the taste varies significantly depending on the kind of strawberry!
Yubeni strikes a perfect balance between sweetness and sourness, while Hinoshizuku boasts a strong strawberry taste. On the other hand, Kaorino is known for its intense sweetness, and Koiminori offers a refreshingly juicy experience. Take your time to compare them all and find your favorite strawberry flavor. Enjoy the delicious journey!
Strawberry Goodies for Home Enjoyment!
In addition to fresh strawberries, there is a wide range of strawberry products.
From classic strawberry jam to strawberry milk base, strawberry candies, strawberry popcorn, and even strawberry bath salts! The adorable packaging makes them perfect for gifting.
I got their most popular popcorn, apparently popular a choice with kids.
This pink popcorn, generously coated with strawberry jam, offers a natural sweetness balanced with a hint of tartness – truly delicious! Plus, the satisfying crunch will have you reaching for more.
